Hello and welcome!

This is www.watton.info - a site which, as its name suggests, is dedicated to providing information about the town of Watton which is in Norfolk, England.

Within the site you can discover what has been, is and will be happening in the area through the pages of The Wayland News a monthly free newspaper published monthly in the area. As well as a PDF download of the current issue, you can also downoad past copies and view some of the pictures from the paper but in colour.

There is also a section on the history of the the town. For many years, with the help of old Wattonians I have collected images of, and information on, the town in years gone by, and it is my intention to make as much of that as I can available on this site.

As well as collecting still images, thanks to my mother who was a keen videographer, I have a good collection of video material, as well as old cine film that people have given me access to. There is also material that has been especially filmed for this site. All this will be found in the Video Gallery

Another section is dedicated to the local businesses providing access to information on businesses in the area who are ready and able to offer you the best in service and quality.

In yet another area of the site are the Town Forums. If you have something you want to sell, have a look at the free Classifieds Forum - it wont cost you anything and selling that unwanted item might make you a few pounds for a meal out at one of the excellent restaurants in the area!!
