Watton High Street is quite unusual in that it has retained much of its market town feel.
With many specialist shops it features fashion, an antiquarian bookshop and picture gallery (JC Books), craft & ethnic goods at Trading Places, a “proper” bakers, a renowned independent butcher and three specialist hardware and household goods stores, two which also major on DIY supplies. An independent newsagent, off licence and sweet shop, bathroom centres all contribute to the varied feel.
The Wayland Chamber of Commerce publishes an annual Information, Trade & Service Directory. This lists local information, including clubs and societies and sports and leisure provision.
The Trade & Services Section lists many of the specialist shops in the area. The directory is available from many places in town, but should you have difficulty in obtaining a copy then please get in touch.
