Rededication of the Memorials

In 1990, in the presence of many ex RAF servicemen who were at Watton during its lifetime, a propeller from a Mk 4 Blenheim shot down at Aalborg on the 13th August 1940, was dedicated as a Memorial. 5 years later the Propeller and the American Memorial were moved when the site was sold. On the 20th June 2008 the RAF and American Memorials were returned to their original hmes at the entrance to RAF Watton. The video record of the event is presented here . . .
